3,778,952

The power of the internet. Old news, I know!

Still, sometimes it just gets to me. Aviation - an industry which is all about travelling, going places, making this world a smaller place - has grown even closer together due to the internet and social media.

As of today, 18:15 UTC on January 23rd, my photographs have been viewed 3,778,952 times on a single website. That's three million, sevenhundredseventyeight thousand and ninehundredfiftytwo times. By tomorrow it will probably be a few hundred more.

That's one big amount of exposure. Of course there's journalists and bloggers getting millions more each day, but still... think twenty years back. How much exposure could you possibly get in an art gallery or a photographer's studio? Quite amazing, right?

My most popular photograph has been viewed some 170,000 times and is - coincidentally - also one which is part of the Jet Visuals logo. Quite a beauty, if I may say so about my own work. Still one of my favourite photographs I was fortunate enough to capture.

In theory, there were 3,778,952 opportunities to do business out there. Where else can you get that? I am grateful to having made a lot of friends and clients (a lot of them fit into both categories) over the years that I would have never met without the internet.

To everyone in this business who blogs, writes, photographs or simply views work done by others... you are helping to make this industry a place full of people who get even closer together.

We (at least I) appreciate your clicks and website views. It's good for all of us.

If you're not aboard yet, feel free to get more about business aviation work I do on Facebook ( www.facebook.com/jetvisuals ) and Twitter ( @BizJetPhoto ) - it's good to have you around.

Oh... if you need more exposure yourself - a bikini girl and a big jet will do. ;o)

Have a great week everyone!
